CLINICIANS ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS

If you are a NEW patient seeking therapy services, we are accepting new patients and would be happy to work with you!

We are in-network with most commercial insurances, including Aetna, BCBS, Cigna, & UHC.

INITIAL APPOINTMENTS

At Reflection Psychology, we do not offer consultation calls. We begin with a full Initial appointment for clients who are ready to engage in therapeutic work. This approach allows us to provide meaningful clinical support from the very first session and determine goodness-of-fit within a structured therapeutic process.

If you book an appointment, please note that this session includes a comprehensive assessment, treatment planning, and an opportunity to ensure that our work together is the right fit for your needs.

URGENT OR ALTERNATE APPOINTMENTS

If you need a more urgent appointment, or an alternate appointment time, you can add yourself to our waitlist (pick a therapist, then scroll down and you’ll see a waitlist under the schedule), or you can reach out to us in the following ways:

Bilingual psychologist helping adults manage anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and complex trauma. Evidence-based therapy in English and Spanish.

ABOUT ME

Dr. Padilla is a bilingual (English/Español) Licensed Clinical Psychologist with over 10 years of experience helping adults manage anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and complex trauma (C-PTSD). She works with individuals who may be experiencing overwhelming emotions, mood instability, or the lasting effects of trauma and stressful life experiences.

Dr. Padilla’s therapeutic approach is collaborative, supportive, and grounded in evidence-based treatments. She believes therapy should provide a safe and respectful space where clients can better understand their emotional experiences, build coping skills, and work toward meaningful and lasting change.

With extensive training in empirically supported therapies, Dr. Padilla uses a combination of psychotherapy approaches tailored to each client’s needs and goals. Her work focuses on helping individuals develop emotional regulation skills, improve mood stability, process difficult experiences, and strengthen their ability to navigate life’s challenges.

Dr. Padilla provides therapy in English and Spanish and is committed to creating a culturally responsive environment where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered in their healing process.

WHO I WORK BEST WITH

Dr. Padilla works with adults who are experiencing emotional distress related to anxiety, depression, mood instability, trauma, or ongoing life stressors.

Many of her clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by their emotions, struggling with mood fluctuations, or trying to understand how past experiences may be affecting their current well-being.

Clients often seek therapy for concerns such as:

• anxiety or persistent worry • depression or loss of motivation • bipolar disorder and mood instability • trauma, PTSD, or complex trauma (C-PTSD) • emotional overwhelm or difficulty regulating emotions • stress related to life transitions or relationships • difficulty coping with past experiences

Dr. Padilla works collaboratively with clients to help them better understand their emotional patterns and develop skills that support greater emotional balance and stability.

COMMON REASONS CLIENTS REACH OUT

Many people seek therapy when they notice patterns such as:

• feeling overwhelmed by anxiety or racing thoughts • persistent sadness or loss of motivation • mood changes that feel difficult to manage • difficulty coping with traumatic experiences • feeling emotionally reactive or easily overwhelmed • struggling to feel stable or in control of emotions • challenges managing stress in relationships or daily life

Therapy can provide a supportive space to better understand these experiences and begin developing tools to improve emotional well-being.

THERAPY APPROACHES I USE

Dr. Padilla uses evidence-based psychological treatments designed to help individuals better understand their emotional experiences and develop practical strategies for managing symptoms and improving well-being.

Depending on each client’s needs, therapy may include:

• skills to regulate overwhelming emotions • strategies to manage anxiety and depressive symptoms • support for stabilizing mood and managing bipolar symptoms • trauma-focused therapy to process difficult experiences • developing healthier coping strategies for stress and relationships

Her approach integrates multiple psychotherapy modalities to support each client in achieving their treatment goals.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT IN YOUR FIRST SESSION

The first session is an opportunity to begin understanding what has been bringing you to therapy.

During this meeting, Dr. Padilla will ask about your current concerns, your personal history, and what you hope to gain from therapy. She will also answer any questions you may have and begin discussing possible treatment approaches that may support your goals.

Her goal is to create a supportive and respectful space where you feel comfortable sharing your experiences and beginning the process of healing and personal growth.

Sessions are available in English and Spanish.

IF YOU’RE WONDERING WHETHER THERAPY WITH ME IS A GOOD FIT

You may benefit from therapy with Dr. Padilla if you are experiencing anxiety, depression, mood instability, or the lasting effects of trauma.

Many of the individuals she works with have been trying to manage their emotional struggles on their own for a long time and are looking for additional support, clarity, and practical tools to improve their well-being.

If you are seeking a psychologist who provides compassionate, evidence-based care and who can help you better understand and manage your emotional experiences, therapy may be a helpful next step.

You do not need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. Sometimes the first step is simply having a space where your experiences can be understood.

Seeking support can feel like a difficult step, but therapy can provide a space where your experiences are met with care, understanding, and professional guidance. Together, you can begin working toward greater emotional stability, insight, and well-being.
